Our client is an Information Technology professional services & solutions provider and ventured into providing value added print solutions using web. |
| |
Our client wanted to design and develop an enterprise wide web application catering to the complex workflow and business requirements of the e-commerce portal in phased approach. The main goal of the project is to provide affordable, high quality print-on-demand solutions on web.
The project needs to be designed following systematic and standard SDLC methodologies with complete documentation in an aggressive time to market scenario. Lot of the requirement and details were not documented, but with the executive and a limited and preliminary requirement, documentation is the beginning point for the project design. |

To cater to the needs of our client, we have approached the project with SCRUM SDLC, and with the support and timely availability of our customer, we proposed a technically superior architecture that could scale and grow as the application grows. |
| |
The project was broken into distinct modules (portals) and within modules into hierarchal functional units. Our business analysts have worked on the preliminary requirements supported with timely information and advise from our client. This resulted in a quick SRS documentation followed by development of functional screen specifications by our business analysts. Following the technology selection, we have deployed talented technology team comprising senior engineers and expert database programmers to provide an efficient solution using an iterative engineering and release model. The core of the application engineering continued with parallel engineering of the UI using RAD model for engineering. The approach resulted in delivery of the desired solution without budget or time overruns and a satisfied customer.
The project is ongoing, and the nature of the enterprise requires constant improvements and additions while managing the application. The client vested Inforaise with the responsibility of total engineering and maintenance of the application. |
