Inforaise formed a team of experienced senior engineers and an application architect. After a short ramp-up period coupled with in-house training by Island Data's application architect, the team began to repair bugs and add enhancements requested by the customer base. Now, a team has been built using Inforaise's in-house training resources that can handle any modification request made by Island Data. |

Inforaise formed a core team to support the on-going needs of the Island Data's own engineer staff. The Inforaise team included an architect and a handful of software engineers, several of which were senior level. The skill set of the Inforaise team was selected to match the needs of the Island Data project according to the phase of the work. As the project moved to different phases, different skill sets were rotated into the mix. Because there wasn't a lot of documentation for the Inforaise team to learn from initially, the team was brought up to speed through a short training program led by the Island Data's application architect. In no time, the Inforaise engineers began to fix oustanding bugs and catch up on delayed enhancement requests, including additional reporting functions. Later, Inforaise added a database expert to the team and began work on performance tuning and database optimization. The team at Inforaise and the team at Island Data has, in essence, become one, with continuous communication between them, regardless of the 12-hour time zone difference. |
